Once the summer residence of the Bressanone bishop-princes, this elegant complex was completely renovated from 1979-83.
Guided tours
from 1st March to 30 November at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m., in July and August tours are also given at 4.30 p.m. Closed Mondays. Visits for groups also available at other times. Trostburg in Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena
One of the South Tyrol's most magnificent fortress complexes, Forte Castle was built at the end of the 12th century and then enlarged and fortified in the 16th century. It has a stupendous late-Renaissance hall in addition to a vaulted Gothic "Stube". This is where the famous medieval poet Oswald von Wolkenstein lived.
Guided tours form April to the end of October at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. In July and August tours are also given at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Closed Mondays.

Open Churches at the Convent "Säben"
beginning in the 05.04.2009 from 2.00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m.
All churches which compare to the convent of "Säben/Sabiona" are open for visitors. The name of the 4 churches are: "Klosterkirche, Gnadenkapelle, Heiligkreuzkirche and Liebfrauenkirche". The convent is closed for public.
